Grampa Posted June 29, 2011 Report Share Posted June 29, 2011 Had a tenant who started to have a few personal problem and the rent wasnt coming in and who wouldnt return calls or reply to letters. One nicely worded letter to the guarantor and I have the rent arrears paid in cash and a standing order for all further payments. I wish they all were as simple as that to resolve. Normally guarantor's tell you **** off when they realise that their signature on an AST actually does mean something and they will be held responsible for rental payments. Mel.
