Rye
We have a sliding door from dining/kitchen area to the lounge area is that OK or does it need changing?
Richlist
That seems to be a strange question. Why do you think it wouldn't be ok ? * Is it functioning as intended ? * If there is glass in the door, is it toughened ? * Does it present a trip or other hazard ? Carryon Regardless
Perhaps the concern is around fire safety? HMO's have regulation on fire doors, non HMO don't have any as far as I'm aware. Just smoke detectors (mains or 10 year sealed in battery) on each level. So just consider it from a safety point of view. As RL glass below (is it 1m?) needs to be toughened.
Rye
Just someone said you couldn't have them, but I couldn't understand why, so that's cleared that up. I have other doors with glass in which I needed to change. But one is only glass at top half which is above 800mm which I understand is OK? Are you asking as a LL or as a tenant?
