Melboy
That's funny RL.............. In my travels around property undertaking installation work with my Son I have seen many weird and wonderful DIY jobs, some funny some just downright dangerous so it would come as no surprise to me that your mixer tap picture was more than just a joke. Chestnut
What a wonderfully simple and cheap piece of alternative engineering using free recycled material! It even incorporates atmospheric non-return valves on both supplies for mixer. Probably poor on durability and difficult to keep clean - but who cares when it can be replaced for nothing on regular basis! I hope it has adequate fitting instructions! Question for professionals: Is it actually illegal in any way?

Probably poor on durability and difficult to keep clean - but who cares when it can be replaced for nothing on regular basis! I hope it has adequate fitting instructions! Question for professionals: Is it actually illegal in any way? I would have thought it was perfectly legal as it doesn't have to comply with Water Council regs. However anyone who installs this tap mixer should seek medical help.
