frankm
I have been a resident landlord for many years but have been recently staying with my girlfirend overnight. I wish to keep my room in my house as an office but wish to formalize agreement with lodgers so that do not become assured shorthold tenants. Is there a template agreement vaialable for this arragement?
Carryon Regardless
T's can be absent for long periods not use the property continually and still have a tenancy, why should you have less rights ? Your lifestyle shouldn't concern anyone else, so if you occasionally sleep there during the day for whatever reason there shouldn't be a problem. The facilities are still shared with a live in owner. Grampa
Make sure all the utilities are still in your name and your mail such as bank accs still go there as well. Also to be doublely sure keep a log of when you stay there.
