I wasn't feeling very confidant because "Shelter" were involved and when we got to the court the shelter rep starting asking a number of questions before we even went into the hearing. Any way the tenant didn't turn up and the hearing sailed through (the judge was even pleasant) faster than any other one I have done before. Got possession in 14 days, rent arrears and costs. Carryon Regardless Posted August 4, 2011 Report Share Posted August 4, 2011 It sounds like the Shelter 'lay person' (as I've heard one describe himself as in court) wasn't up on proceedure. Mortitia Posted August 4, 2011 Report Share Posted August 4, 2011 Congrats Grampa. I think we hear such horror stories on hear sometimes about looney judges on S8 and S21 that we expect the worse.
