Richlist
Assuming its a like for like replacement and there is no element of improvement.....e.g. more radiators, more features, extra controls etc.....then it's treated the same as any other repair/replacement. Don't do what I often do and forget to claim all of the incidental costs.....delivery, mileage costs, phone calls, disposal of rubbish etc etc
Melboy
As an add on to this topic...........I believe in the next year or so domestic boilers in rented properties have to be to the latest efficiency standards. How this requirement is going to be enforced I do not have a clue.
Richlist
Not heard that before Melboy..... * have you got a link to this requirement ? * I'm hoping that it only applies to new builds and is not being applied retrospectively ?
Melboy
I posted "As an add on to this topic...........I believe in the next year or so domestic boilers in rented properties have to be to the latest efficiency standards. It was he who mentioned a whole new raft of regulations coming in regarding gas boilers in rental properties etc.
