Mortitia
The most common one I use is Rent for Sure but sometimes I use 192.com I always double up and check the employer again myself - you can't be too sure.
Richlist
Don't forget if they don't have a UK/EU passport you need to check their right to rent/ Visa to stay in the UK. It's now the landlords responsibility with penalties for non compliance.
Carryon Regardless
So if the visa is valid at the time they take the property is that enough? As visa's have a specified duration are we responsible for evicting before their visa runs out?
Richlist
Is that enough ? Yes You shouldn't need to evict.....either the tenant (or their employer) will arrange renewal of the visa or you report the situation to Immigration. Its not particularly difficult to check the expiry date, make a note of it in your diary and then check that the tenant has renewed. The visas that I have seen......for my tenants from India.....we're for a 2 year period. If they are employed by a large multinational firm they will be ensuring the documentation is all correct but it's best to make sure.
