Melboy
The answer is probably yes as you are writing up a new tenancy contract. This requirement took effect as from 1st October 2015 for new tenancies starting on or after that date. Landlords will now have to provide the EPC to tenants before they can rely on a section 21 notice. You will need to protect the deposit as well if you have not done so already
Richlist
There were a long list of new legal requirements that came into force from last October........I'm away from home at the moment so don't have access to my records but someone else may post the list. I know the RLA have a check sheet which is available on their web site.
