Richlist
Don't forget to re-serve the prescribed information once a fixed term tenancy ends and becomes periodic....... http://www.rics.org/uk/knowledge/news-insight/news/tenancy-deposit-protection/
Grampa
The above may all change when the proposed amendment to the deposit legislation which would remove the effects of the Superstrike court case and the need to issue prescribed information again when a tenancy goes statutory periodic. Richlist
Note * May all change ......'may' being the appropriate word. * The amendment is just a proposal. * Removal of the affects of Superstrike is by no means a certainty. I for one am taking no chances and will comply with current rules. Its so easy to comply by re issuing the PI & getting tenants to sign to confirm they are in receipt and its one of the few 'chores' that carries virtually no cost & little effort to the majority of landlords.
