jmw2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Report Share Posted December 1, 2012 when my last tenant tried to get his deposit back we discovered that the agency i had used had never placed the deposit into any of the schemes available.i have since discovered that the franchise i used and the main company appear to be heading towards liquidation.basically i need to know if i am now responsible for paying the deposit back to my tenant personally.will it be possible to try to claim any money back as a creditor/unsecured creditor?
