I gave them 4 months notice to switch to another agent as from 1st Jan 2012. However, the deposits were not transferred to the new agent. After many emails and voice messages, I decided to pay them a visit, only to be told by the office receptionist they no longer operated from there, and no forwarding address was left. Mortitia Posted March 7, 2012 Report Share Posted March 7, 2012 I suggest you call your local Trading Standards office and report this and the police as from what you say the deposit may have been stolen. Unfortunately the landlord is responsible for the the deposit so if your tenants leave you will need to find the money to refund them.
