Scarlett
After a years battle with tenants who wrecked our property, they have eventually agreed to pay for some of the damage they caused. After many emails we realise that the Letting Agent did not perform their job of managing the property, they were paid in good faith but but did nothing except process payments. The tenants have informed me that they complained about many problems which were not reported back to me by the Letting Agent so the problems escalated. Both sides have emails to the Agents which were not replied to or acted upon.We have come to a compromise with the tenants, however both sides have suffered hardship because of these dreadful Agents and I really want them to be culpable for the inadequacies. Is there a body that I can report them to and should we sue them?
Grampa
If you can prove the agent didnt do something that is stated in writing that was part of a service you paid for and can put a monerty figure to what it has cost you, then yes on the face of it you can sue.
