cb250870
I have recently let out my house for the first time. They have had a 6 month short assured tenancy agreement and then I gave them a second one up until end of Feb 2012. I do not want to give them another agreement so I need to give them some kind of termination letter. I have been looking online and can't find one that you don't have to pay for. I was wondering if anyone has or can guide me to getting one. I am resident in Scotland and the property is there to. Would be grateful if anyone can help me out please. Mortitia
The termination letter will have to have in it a Section 21 notice which that link Grampa has provided should give you. That gives the tenants 2 months notice but you must make sure you serve it just before a 'rent due date' . It might be nice to go and tell your tenants that you want to end their tenancy and explain how the process works. Mortitia
