Melboy Posted May 19, 2010 Report Share Posted May 19, 2010 She's called Rose Chimuka - or perhaps Emily Mapera, Rose Maetune or Emma Magonna - but whatever the name, she is wreaking havoc on those renting out their houses in South-East London. Chimuka, who is either Zimbabwean or South African and in her 50s, poses as a respectable housewife with three children, a husband seemingly in well-paid employment, with previous landlord references all in order. She looks like the perfect tenant, until unsuspecting landlords through their letting agencies hand over the keys - only to discover it is all a scam. Once through the door, Chimuka divides the property into bedsits and sublets to a large number of tenants, collects the rents for herself and pays the landlord nothing. .................
