Some councils are already consulting on implementing licensing schemes such as in Cardiff: http://www.landlordlawblog.co.uk/2009/12/0...s-ward-cardiff/ Do you think this is punishing the majority for the actions of the few and creating more red tape and costs for landlords or is it a necessary evolution that shouldn't worry the professional Landlord? I would think it is most probable it will be implemented as Landlords are an easy touch when it comes to raising even more taxation from the Public. Mel.
