Selkirk
I've never supplied anything electricial but have maintained and supplied the cooker, someone told me recently that things have now changed and unfurnished properties can now be let without a cooker. Can anyone confirm this? cheers
GPEL
Nothing's changed, you've always been allowed to let without a cooker.

Melboy
I always provide a cooker as I think it helps to let my property. I keep an eye open for any local bargain for a nearly new cooker and buy it up ready to fit. Never paid more than £80 for one in fact the last one I bought must be about 4 years ago replacing one that had been in place for nearly 10years. The one thing I do not provide is a washing machines.....too much trouble and expense.....I use to but never had a single tenant who looked after it.
