Smarter_Housing
Hello & welcome to the forum. It doesn't seem to make it clear in the rules (the ones I read whilst signing up) - are marketing posts legal? Many thanks, Adam

resident
Hello everyone, Just to clarify we do try and remove blatant marketing posts as a general rule but when it comes to our partners who support the website for the benefit of all, we think it only fair that they be given a little more elbow room. No marketing unless its the people who pay for it. Not bitching as you running a business not a charity and if marketing becomes OTT then will just abandon site and go elsewhere. So keep marketing in persepctive and limit it to 1 in 50 posts would be ok.

J4L
What's the guidance about advertizing in footers and people in glass houses... could you clarify what you mean by 'footers'? Or do you mean 'signatures' on posts?
resident
Hi guys, We seem to be veering away from buy to let matters somewhat here. We have had no change of policy in four years and you only have to look at the quality of the forum to see that it is not overrun with marketing posts.
