Cleaver
Hi, just to update that as our tenant has complained to the council about living conditions (damp and mould due to condensation) we have offered to have trickle vents put in, get the drimaster adjusted if need be and a decorator to treat mould and decorate. The council have informed me the case is closed as they are satisfied with our response so too is the tenant. Decorator has commenced work, I want to serve a s21 (using an eviction company) but my question to you is, should I do it now or wait till the decorating is complete? Richlist
Not quite sure why you would ask that question on a forum, unless, you think that by serving notice now you are leaving yourself open to court action. Personally I'd do what suited me best Serving notice now would mean at least 2 months before you regain possession of the property.......surely the trickle vents, dry master adjustment and decorating will all be finished long before then.
