swift no 1 Posted September 2, 2006 Report Share Posted September 2, 2006 Hi I have a tennant who has a child that is classed as disabled.Am I obliged to provide amematies for a disabled person who has difficulties walking if requested by the tennant i.e ramp(steps to house quite steep) grab handles or anything else on the outside which is my responsability.Come to think of it is the inside needs my responsability. SPEEDTWIN Posted September 2, 2006 Report Share Posted September 2, 2006 GRAP RAILS,RAMPS,STAIR LIFTS ETC I BELEIVE CAN BE PAID FOR BY THE COUNCIL (BUT THE TENNANT HAS TO APPLY) BUT FITTED ONLY WITH YOUR PERMISSION.
