brownjl
Hello, If a landlord forgets to invoice or collect rent for a property is the tenent legally obligated to inform the land lord? Would it be legally sound for the tenent not to inform him but insure it is paid in full once the landlord notices, or before they leave the property at the end of the contract? Cheers, John
Trojan
John, it is your responsibility to ensure rent reaches the landlord, not fir him to invoce you or rquest it. he has already requested in the form of a lease, how much is due and the date it is due. then again I have little sympathy if he has not given you specific instructions for payment or has not chased it up.
