Landlord Insurance Direct
not sure what you mean by ground rent, is this a nominal thing you pay or more like a hefty service charge? as for who pays it, i would imagine it's up to you, put it in the ast: landlord agrees/tenant agrees to pay all ground rent for property..... tony_ mort
You as leaseholder are responsible for the ground rent. It is unlikely that the freeholder would allow you to elect a third party to pay it for you. Further, theoretically you can be evicted if it is not paid. Pay it yourself, but factor it into the rent charge, and don't forget it is tax deductable.
