Mortitia Posted September 16, 2010 Report Share Posted September 16, 2010 The best way with this may be to work out a 'day rate'. You don't say if your friend is skilled or not. A skilled carpenter in my area costs about £145 - 160/day and a labourer £60-70/day. Based on this work out how many 8 hour 'days' he does and pay him that or near that amount.
