RachaelDraper Posted December 10, 2009 Report Share Posted December 10, 2009 Under the Walker Review of Water Charging the Government is considering changing the law so that Landlords are liable for the payment of a Tenant's unpaid water bill. Unlike other utilities, the water companies cannot turn off people's water supply for unpaid supply, so they plan to use the Landlord as an unpaid debt collector - and guarantor!
