fairgrace
Please could anybody advise me? I have new tenants moving in in two weeks and they keep pestering me to give them the tenancy agreement to check. I have it almost ready, but as the Inventory should be given with the agreement it makes no sense to give it so long before they move in the property. I cannot find anywhere guidance for how long before the tenancy commences I am supposed to give the tenants with a tenancy agreement. Any idea? Thanks in advance and kindest regards, fairgrace
vinvin
Almost ready!!!! Give them a DRAFT copy. Make sure you have a watermark DRAFT COPY. Most want to read it before commmiting themselves, and no point to leave it to the day or so before, in case they decide to pull out on the conditions of tenancy that they feel they cannot commit too. Inventory only needs to be given to the tenants as they move in, but if they choose not to sign as they move in only give them 5 days in which to complete after tenancy commencement
