scoot2001
Hi, Can anyone tell me what the exact protocol is with tenancy agreements and who keeps what? Up until now I have just had two copies, both signed by myself and tenant, I get one copy and tenant gets the other. Is this correct or is it ok to just have one tenancy agreement signed by both parties, which the tenant keeps and I take a photocopy of? Many thanks. simhar
I believe its like any contract, you both sign originals, and each party keep 1 copy each.
Simon Dewsberry
Ideally 2 "hard" copies ....as simhar(for once !! helpfully...points out ) altho legally a photo copy will suffice ......but i would make sure it is the T who gets the copy and you that retains the original ....
