daveyc2004 Posted February 9, 2008 Report Share Posted February 9, 2008 Help Ive just bought a shop and flat shops fine but the flats rented out already to a tenant on a 24 year lease with 10 left on it the tenant has not lived in the flat since sept 07 but has paid the rent in full £1054 a year til april 08 the problem is the lease for the flat has appeared for auction on the 21/02/2008 can he do this the lease reads Not to assign underlet or charge the whole of the premises without the prior consent of the landlord such consent not to be unreasonably withheld or delayed he has neve contacted me and is avoiding all letters and avoiding me any advice Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
