viviens Posted January 23, 2008 Report Share Posted January 23, 2008 The tenant (as below - rodents) took the property with her partner, asked to sublet 2 days after moving in. Partner then moved out so the remaining tenant asked if she could add others to the tenancy agreement. Despite being told she cannot move people in without their names on contract she has moved 3 -4 people. Tenant went to Australia early Dec and asked to terminate her tenancy early. We agreed to change contract to 6 months and accepted her notice for 7th March (or earlier if we can find alternative tenants). One of the people-not-on-contract is refusing access to the agents for viewings despite reasonable notice. We are in the last two months of non-housing act agreement. Agents had to get tenant to make last rent payment. Tenant still in Australia but believed to be returning soon. Help. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
