heyjerome
Good afternoon, I'm a live in landlord and rent out 3 of my 4 rooms. I was trying to clarify my tax calculation and I am one of four living in the house. Is this right? Allowable expenses: All mortgage interest (not 3/4) All buildings insurance (not 3/4) 3/4 Electric and gas 3/4 TV licence 3/4 Council tax 3/4 Water 10% of net rent for maintanance and repair = (rent - 3/4Bills)*10% or can I claim all of the bills against the income? Thanks for the help!
