sue770
Hi I wonder if can body can help, has any advice. I have recently sold my property 'subject to contract'. The buyer has asked via the agent, whether entry can be made to the property for decorating, prior to exchange of contracts. Buyer is offering £5,000 - £10,000 as a deposit. lauralivesartnouveau
Hi I have done this you need a good solicitor who is on the ball and you will have no problems. We had a gap between exchange of contracts and completion with the deposit paid and purchase committed. After the exchange the purchaser can undertake works at own expense if they fail to complete you will be compensated in the normal manner.
