Simon Dewsberry Posted March 20, 2007 Report Share Posted March 20, 2007 Yes Appeal the valuation this has happened to me twice on remortgages All you will be required to do is - you or the surveyor finds three properties similar to yours ie no of beds, condition etc that have sold in the last 3-6 months - it must be the sold price not the asking price within a fairly close proximity to yours upto a mile dpending on area. I have had mine upped to my requested figure on both ocassions! You will probably need the help of local estate agents to access this information - to make it sound like you know what you are talking about just call them and say you are looking for "comps" or "comparables" Good luck Simon Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
