pugsy Posted March 8, 2007 Report Share Posted March 8, 2007 I had to take my awful tenant to court last week for non payment of rent. His AST was dated 30th September for 6 months. The judge awarded me a possession order (section 8 notice) suspended for 28 days based on the tenant paying arrears, which I am sure he will not. Anyways I served a section 21 months ago so tenant knows he's out regardless, hence why I think he won't pay. The court date was february 27th '07, my question is: is the 28 day suspended order dated from the court date? and can I book bailiffs in advance and if so (if the tenant does not pay) what date is my possession date.
