Loopy
Yep, the council require a licence cause the building is three storeys and they want all sorts of extra safety provisisos! I have just renovated the property and as such am reluctant to invest more money. Had enough of the form filling and as such will sell! My question to the forum, if it hasn't come up before, is how to advise the tenents accordingly?
Matthew
I have recently done one of these myself. The council have given me 5 years to rectify standards where they are not completely met. Have you spoke to the council as it is likely they would do the same depending on which you do not comply with. The common one is not enough washing facilities. If the property is profitable then wait 4 years and re-assess the situation.
