MICHAELA8668
I am using the AST provided on this site for the first time. I am a bit confused as I cant find anything that says the tenant has to give one months notice and can only do so once the six months is up. Can anyone help? GPEL
Not sure what the AST says but a tenant is entitled to leave at the end of the fixed period without giving notice. If the tenancy goes periodic, notice is then required in accordance with the agreement and rent payment cycle and should expire on the anniversary of the rent due date. In some circumstances, 1 month can work out to a day short of 2 months, subject to date the notice was given.
