  1. Thanks for your input guys much appreciated
  2. I have recently helped move my partners daughter into her new uni digs, there are single glazed sash and case windows and sandstone and lathe and plaster walls . There is no extractor in the bathroom and the extractor in the kitchen area has been taped over and I'm a bit worried about condensation . I don't know the rules and regulations regarding this matter and I'm hoping one of you could advise. The property is in Edinburgh. Thanks in advance
  3. well im finding that im getting 30 tonne from houses with storage heating ....if you have an electrically heated house in Scotland that needs cavity wall insulation get in touch ...tenants do not need to be on benefits, just need landlord permission.
  4. well the only thing I have just now is free cavity wall insulation ...funding for around 1200 jobs through one of the big six ....as usual first come first served.... unfortunately only in Scotland ....the only qualifying criteria is that I can save 30 tonnes of carbon from your house, as usual we will carry out an EPC to determine if you will meet this figure, if so the work will be free. There are no other companies with this funding just now and probably wont be until later in the year................................ although I hear through the grapevine that cash back is starting again v
  5. Too late Mortitia closed on 17th March but we will see what the next batch of funding will bring me ...I will post details as they become available
  6. If anyone is interested they will have to send in details before 17th march to have any chance of getting new boiler or system. so far only two landlords have applied..Delmor and Moo let in Fife and they are getting 3 boiler replacements at no cost to them or owner of property
  7. deadline brought forward to 17th March you will need to be quick
  8. right now if I get your details on database before 20th march and you are in the catchment area and eligible I can have someone round to look at proof of benefits, tenure and check the boiler is below 86% efficiency within 7 working days then that is checked by ofgem and approval given..so first contact within 7 working days and then boiler replacement can be done to suit you and your tenant anytime between now and cut off in August
  9. I have grants for central heating in the following regions Fife Dundee Falkirk Clackmannanshire Argyll-Bute Perth and Kinross Moray North Ayrshire replacements for gas, oil and solid fuel systems private houses and private lets who are on affordable warmth group benefits ie working tax credit, income support etc for full details j.mcaleer@bcagroup.org
