If someone is offering you a good deal where property is involved, then why aren't they buying the property(ies) themselves? The only proper way to invest overseas is to go there yourself and get to know the market, the area and the prices, as well as the pitfalls - otherwise you're likely to get ripped off. Melboy Posted May 27, 2006 Report Share Posted May 27, 2006 Bulgaria is Crime Ridden and ripping off a few property crazed Brits. looking for a fast Buck and taking their hard earned cash means little to the Crime Gangs. Not true? Then why has the EU delayed Bulgaria's entry into the EU and told the Country that they must clean up the corruption and drugs gangs before entry is permitted. The sad thing is that it is likely that Bulgaria is going to be accepted into the EU and there are 100,000 of these people waiting to enter Britain for work etc! God help us!!
