In the case of the roof leak, I definitely approve, but it’s one more step towards killing the private letting business IMO. We had to give our tenants notice in our home as we lived in the States for 11 years and needed our house back. I’m now in the process of selling my rentals, so will be giving notice to the tenants when they sell (one may buy it as he loves the house).
