However do I need to put this somewhere specific, ie seperate bank account, or can I just give a recipt for this amount and give back at the end of the tenancy (should eveything be ok) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Webb Posted May 30, 2006 Report Share Posted May 30, 2006 I think it best to put whole tenant business including their deposit into separate account (e.g.building society). That way you can produce a statement in case of dispute, without disclosing your other affairs. I think this is part 1 of my answer to SMILE!
