Looks like childs play, plug it in, green light pass, red light fail. no need to go on a £400 odd 'show me your money' PAT testing course. However if and when it comes to litigation after an accident (for why else are tests requested?) it won't be the simplicity of the test that's questioned, but how properly qualified and trained was the person who did it.
