Whitey Posted May 18, 2006 Report Share Posted May 18, 2006 I understand that the TDS is effective on any new or extended AST's from 1st October 2006. Most Letting Agents will be approved to hold tenants deposits but what about landlords who manage their own property's? Does this mean they will have to pay a Letting Agent to hold deposits and refund them when they are due back. Does anyone know???? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I havn't really thought about this one 'cos I let my LA handle the deposit....no arguments as such at the end of the Tenancy.
