Guest caravanj
Well the house is virtually finished. It's amazing what proper tradesmen can do in a short space of time. I can't print what my joiner said when he found that the loft ladder access had been fitted by simply cutting through a load of joists without supporting them with additional timbers. If we hadn't spotted the ceiling starting to sag & corrected the problem, I was informed that it could have ultimately caused the roof structure to collapse. Guest caravanj
Result, the builder renovating the house has bought it for a fair price so it's no longer my problem.

Guest caravanj
Really nice to hear that this chapter is finally over with good conclusion Thanks, yes it's a huge relief. I'm going to buy a rental property where I live, there's a strong demand & I can avoid the pitfalls of owning a property at a distance.
