I little heads up though, Some yeas ago an ex con sued his LL when released from prison after a lengthy period. The property hadn't been surrendered and the LL hadn't served notice believing it to not be the main residence. The git won, and no doubt benefitted from legal aid. Melboy Posted January 1, 2021 Report Share Posted January 1, 2021 The insurance company will want to know how many recorded property inspections have taken place prior to the police action. We had a case here a couple of years back where a modern 3 bed house burnt down due to cannabis growing tenants by passing the electrical supply causing a fire. The insurance did not pay out.
