bootiegara Posted February 3, 2008 Report Share Posted February 3, 2008 A friend owed me money and he offered me a short assured tenancy of one of his flats for two years and half. The first year of tenancy his workman was there and he told me verbally that he wanted to sell the property and he can give me some money instead. I couldn’t move in and use the property for the first whole year because he kept promising it’ll be sold soon. Now the tenancy is going to expire at the end of this month and he is not going to give me any compensation for the first year as he promised verbally.
