  1. I'm about to rent my one-bedroom apartment to a student, a 20 years old guy. I have never rented to young adults and I'm pretty confused right now. But after reading this article - things seem to be not that bad. Generation Z What do you think?
  2. I have just bought a 2 bed flat in Reading, which I am looking to let out with minimal hassle. I work long hours, and I'm often abroad, so I need to be able to manage the property with minimal effort. All the agents that have got back to me with their management fees have seemed pretty extortionate (7% - 12%) of the rental. I've been looking at various rental management platforms online - rentify, upad and openrent, which looks like it would be significantly cheaper (and even possibly easier than dealing with a letting agent) and I'm just wondering whether any seasoned landlords out there have any advice as to which one I should choose. I'm looking for value, but would probably prefer a 'full' solution that handled everything for me rather than one that is a bit cheaper but required more work. I realise that this is a bit of an open ended question, but it's quite a big commitment, so any advice or pointers would be very welcome and much appreciated!
