I have a couple living in my rental flat. They are coming up to the end of the first year of their tenancy and one of them wants to move out and the other wants to rent it on her own. There are no affordabilty issues. Just wondering about the inventory. If she agrees in writing that she is happy to take on the inventory that was drawn up when they both moved in, is that ok legally? With all her possesions in the flat, it would be difficult to do another "unfurnished" inventory.
